woah. busy busy busy
I am so sorry for the long absense! I have been super busy with so many things that I havn't had time to do much of anything fun. So I am going to fill you in on my life in the past month ish. :) I moved home from college and I am loving it. Of coarse I miss my college family, but i also have tight knit group of friends at home that I adore also. I have been spending alot of time with them. Also I am back working at my old job in the deli. I missed that alot too so it is nice to be back and a little extra cash is always nice. :) I am also taking 2 summer classes, and my math class is kicking my butt. But over all summer has been amazing so far. I will be posting a few of my favorites and I am going from this day on be blogging everyday :) (or going to do my best to blog everyday) :) enjoy!

Give me fever
Milan Fashion Week, Women Fall Winter 2011/2012
Love this line. Frankie Morello.
More like obsessed. I sorta stumbled upon this line while I was doing my regular fashion browsing. I can't believe I hadn't came across this fabulous fashion duo sooner. The label Frankie Morello was born in 1998 from the stylistic encounter between Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti. This line showcases the golden year of 50. Once I came across the pictures, I had to watch the show. The line is an amazing twist of masculine femininity. The hair is done in a 50's style pin up with the "you give me fever" style jazz music. The line has a feeling of wonder and awe, all with a twist of punk meets bull rider. They use the destinct colors of the base color being black with yellow and red accents. They also use alot of embellishments that are all gold. These signify and go along with the golden 50's theme. There is a tastefull combination of harsh meeting elligance with many of the outfits being very masculine of pant suits or leather but with a twist of femininity thrown in along with it. Almost resembles the movie "Grease". At one point there is a red leather poodle skirt which I see as brilliant. This line is fantastic and I will most definitely be following Frankie Morello is the future. :)
knitting isn't just for grandmas
So for my textiles class I had to learn how to knit. At first it was horible and rocky, but as I got more comfortable with it, I realized that it was actually sorta relaxing to knit. Even though my fingers hurt by the end of the week, I completed a scarf and I am actually very proud of it. I picked a golden yellow, a color I knew that I would wear so that my efforts wern't going to waste. Knitting is a lost art, and it should be embraced by young people. Try it ! :)

Figuring this all out
Hellllloo lovelies,
So here is my first official post. I have been wanting to start a fashion blog for a really long time, and my friend who is also a blogger has been really pushing me to start a fashion blog as well. But the fun thing about this is that this is not only going to be a fashion blog, but a more of an inspiration blog. Even though I have an immense passion for fashion, I am inspired by many things around me and didn't want to be boxed into just fashion. This blog will be everything that inspires me throughout the day and my life. Wish me luck, I am nervous about this. But with summer starting in about a week, I feel like this is the perfect time to start a blog. I hope you enjoy. :)
